"What you do today can improve all your tomorrows" by Ralph Marston.
My name is Althea Mae Rabe, but people can call me "Thea". Some of my hobbies are crocheting, cooking, playing volleyball, and watching K-dramas. With these hobbies, helps me to avoid boredom. My ambition is to be a nurse someday to help people by treating or healing them, like my uncle who's in abroad now with his family. If god wills, I would also like to study civil engineering after completing my nursing degree.
I've heard that some people thought I was not friendly, but in real life, I love making friends. When I was in elementary school, I didn't have any friends and experienced bullying in grade 4. Whenever I see a person being left out, I feel sorry because I know how it feels to be alone in a classroom where you can see your classmates with their friends laughing. I have a small circle of friends, yet they are my true friends. I ensure that they don't experience the loneliness that I felt back then.
Moving on, both my parents are hardworking people, and I adore and idolize them. My father is an OFW who provides us with money for our education, with my brother, and for our house. While, my mother is not only taking care of us, but she's also mu number one best friend in my entire life. Lastly, mu sibling, my older brother, has been my basher throughout my life. Despite his rudeness towards me, I can see how he always looks out for me and support me when I need him. My family is very important to me since they are the ones who will support me no matter what, make me joyful, no judgements, and be there when I'm at my lowest.Playing lawn tennis is one of my favorite sport. I once joined in R1AA and was glad to meet wonderful people through this sport. It was chaotic, filled with laughter, moments of sadness and those meaningful conversations. However it's bittersweet to realize that this year, I won't be able to represent my school and city because I want to prioritize my studies first. Even if I'm not on the court, I will surely be on the sidelines cheering for them.
Aside from that, I'm still learning who I am, my weaknesses, and my strengths throughout this journey. I'm excited for the future to become a better yet successful person.
