Sports. Passion. Strength.

We went to cheer for our classmates, who were dressed in vibrant and colorful outfits. It was performed in the gym before the basketball match. It was amazing, the footwork and the way their bodies sway. Every time they moved, they were in sync. The students were amazed by the dancers' impressive moves. A loud cheer for all the performers because everyone gave their best.

This photo was taken during the intramural at our school. The maroon jersey represents the HUMMS strand while the other one represents the TVL strand. The gym was filled with students, loud cheers from the bleachers, and an energetic atmosphere that inspired everyone present. It was an intense match between these two opponents. Everyone's determined to claim victory in this match—giving up is simply not an option.

After the intense basketball match, the HUMMS strands celebrated their victory against the TVL strand. The noise from those students was so loud that it was almost unbearable, showing their excitement and support. I’m proud of both teams because they gave their best during the match. As Magic Johnson said “In life, winning and losing will both happen. What is never acceptable is quitting.”

This is a photo that I captured, a thrilling game of Sepak Takraw. It also happened during the intramural of our school in Ilocos Sur National High School. Both teams have cool footwork as they kicked and passed the ball over the net and amazing teamwork. Actually, it was my first time watching a Sepak Takraw match. Despite the damp court from the rain, the match continued with full energy and spirit.

Seeing this tennis event during intramural, I remembered myself on the court, nervous and determined to win. This year was different, I couldn't participate because my parents told me to study first since I’m a graduating student. Honestly, I felt a little sad while watching my former teammates. What if I joined this year? What if my parents allowed me to join again? What if I win, and bring the gold home? Many what-ifs are on my head while watching the tennis intramural. But it also reminds me of how much I learned something new in this sport. Just like what I said even if I’m not on the court, I will surely be on the sidelines cheering for them.
